I have only used it 3 times so far but it works perfectly. Even on a small load - it removed 1 litre of water after my 1100 rpm washing machine was finished. Makes the clothes much faster to dry. Very pleased, wish I had got one years ago.

This is quite small, easy to use and took a lot of extra water out of wool items I had only spun on 400 rpm in washer but tied up tightly in bags so they did not go out of shape. They then dried fully in a few hours and did not shrink. This is what I wanted it for mainly and it is brilliant. No soggy wool hanging around for days. Not sure how much extra water is extracted from other items that have been spun in washer at 1400 rpm but not worried about that. Also excellent for items that have just been hand washed and rinsed.

Thrilled to bits with this spin dryer. Living in a flat, didn't want to buy a washing machine. Decided best method soak clothes in detergent, which works very well. Then - how to dry? After much careful research, decided on this Thomas 776 after it came top in some review sites. So pleased I did. So, I grabbed my heap of wet washing, gave it a not-too-strenuous wring out, didn't put myself to too much effort, put the items one by one into the spin dryer, pressed each down, laid the next on top, pressed that down, at the top carefully folded in a a towel and tucked it under the edges. Closed the lid. Pushed the handle thingy back. Machine came on, for about 3 minutes quietly vibrated. Water poured out of the spout into the bowl previously placed on floor under spout. When the machine stopped, opened lid, removed washing and hey presto. Almost bone dry. I mean, dry enough to iron, or put on an airer. But essentially clean, dry washing. Fabulous. These spin dryers are about 4 times more efficient than the ones integrated into washing machines. This is SO much better than using the laundrette and then spending so much money on the inefficient tumble dryers. Not to mention having to sit there staring at a rotating machine. No - for me, this is the very best. Stick the clothes in a bucket or the bath or the sink overnight with washing power, don't bother even to rub them or scrub them. Let them soak. Take them out beautifully clean and smelling nice the next day. Rinse with tapwater, loosely wring them out so they're not spilling water all over the floor, load them into said spin dryer, get them out virtually dry minutes later and hey presto! Read full review

Great dryer. Amazed how much water came out. Just a bit noisy, but when I’m using it, I’m not the one trying to sleep. Lol

Gerstein dryer, the only drawback in my opinion is there is no laundry ring to secure the laundry in place you have to use a cloth ( I use a tea towel firmly shoved down the sides to prevent any movement. It's a gaff but it works.
