Nice little slicer
Nice and easy to operate, but cleaning the blade can be a touch tricky to remove for cleaning. The locking mechanism is a bit stiff, an das it's made of plastic it could be broken easily. That aside it cuts bread and cheese well, you just have to be quick to catch the slices as they emerge from the other side. yes there are other slicers on the market, but for affordability and compactness this one fits the bill nicelyNice and easy to operate, but cleaning the blade can be a touch tricky to remove for cleaning. not strong enough / hard to clean
Would be better if it was made of metal. When you hold the meat to cut, the facing plastic wall get wavy a little bit and make the slice bigger than the measure it been set to. Very hard to clean.

Good, but
The slicer does a very reasonable job and I would recommend it, but we had a few issues with it. The blade is not dish washer safe. It has 3 speeds but no guidance on which is best for meat, cheese etc. Although it packs down small the components do not fit together and tend to get separated in a busy cupboard. We found cleaning it after use a bit of a mission. We tried to slice up a 750g cooked Gammon joint but found it overheated several times before completing the job.The slicer does a very reasonable job and I would recommend it, but we had a few issues with it. Does the job and easy to clean.
Although I was initially looking for a hand operated unit but unable to find one I am however pleased with this one and it’s operation. I did expect to have a sharper blade with it but it does the job of slicing my home cured bacon.
