This is way way better than the expensive rycote junk!
This is way way better than the rycote junk! I've got two of these.. It's a little larger than Rycote (I like a bit of extra space around my mic) .. But! .. It's much better designed .. The best bit is .. You can buy the Dead Cats / Wind Covers for about £38 .. I've got two on the shelf ready to use .. I'd never do that with the expensive Rycote ones .. (A new fresh wind cover is like fresh sheets on a bed.. It's just the best!)This is way way better than the rycote junk! I've got two of these.. It is EXACTLY as good as everyone says. I use it with my trustee, old faithful, Rode NTG2 microphone, and - with the dead wombat on - sounds UNBELIEVABLY clear outdoors in breezy London. Use this and that's your audio sorted. One less thing to worry about. I should have bought this years ago.
