As a sufferer of back pain for many years I have tried and discarded many different pieces of pain relief machinery. I was fortunate to discover, some years ago, a large hand held vibration machine with built in infra-red lamp (Hinari). This machine served me well for many years but is now past its best so I searched for a replacement. The treatment of back pain has evolved over the years with the introduction of TENS machines and shiatsu massage machines but as a traditionalist I wanted something familiar, reliable and easy to use. After hours of searching I came across the Beurer MG21 Handheld Infrared Massager. It was a familiar shape, which I found easy to use, it had the infra-red option, which helps to ease sore muscles, and the price was affordable. I have found the machine to have a strong vibration, gentle heat due to the infra-red lamp, and sturdy construction. I have used the machine, as I would my old machine, and it has performed admirably. After extended use the machine did become hot to the touch, even without the lamp switched on, but it was still performed well. I am unable to contest to the overall build quality, as I have only had the machine for a few weeks, however I can say that I have found it to be as good as my old vibration machine, and the price meant it was very good value for money. I bought this for muscle pain relief but although the massager work fine I would like more heat, the item could be improved by making it get hot quicker and stronger infrared heat

I am pleased with this product. It has three interchangeable heads and also an infra red heat facility when the heads are removed. It is very easy to massage as it has a long handle and a decent length of mains cable. The price is also very reasonable.
