    Fast, light, thin, modern—and 16GB RAM makes it great for video and photo editing

    It is a very fast, light (1.38 kg), thin, modern Apple laptop, with a superb Retina (high DPI) screen. This model comes with 16GB RAM memory, which is a relatively rare upgrade—8 being the standard—but it comes very useful if you want to edit videos or photos. Ideally, when buying used, you should get it with remaining warranty—the original 12 months might have expired, so look for the extended AppleCare warranty. It is generous in taking care of hardware or software issues, by email or by phone. Apple telephone support is great, as is the ability to chat to an Apple Genius bar employee in an Apple Store.
