Elegant, Effective, but Expensive
Despite being refurbished this product appears totally new, and Dyson will cover it under warranty for a year. In terms of design; the AM06 is very elegant, although slightly larger than I was expecting. The remote works well, and having 10 speeds of variation means that you can always find the perfect speed. It is expensive, and doesn't have any of the smart-home or filtration features of the higher models - but this is the best price you'll find for one of these.Despite being refurbished this product appears totally new, and Dyson will cover it under warranty for a year. Not worth the expense.
It is extremely expensive for what it is. It is not worth the money in my opinion. + Easy to clean. Lightweight. Quiet (only) on very low or low settings. - Not quiet on higher settings. Only quiet on very low or low settings. The remote control doesn't control the tilt (backwards and forwards) function, only side-to-side. Too expensive. Doesn't appear to have an automatic switch off function, only a timer (in case you were to accidentally leave it on when you leave the house). It blows air at you but it is not an air conditioner (it can just blow warm air at you) - I don't list this as a negative because it is sold as a fan but it is important to bear this in mind.It is extremely expensive for what it is. Good but very expensive
I bought this fan to replace the rather noisy conventional fan I had been using for years. I use it at night so was attracted by the fact that it is almost silent when on the slower settings. All told it has 10 different speed settings. It is well designed and effective BUT horrendously expensive for what it is. I bought a refurbished one for £139 but would never pay the full price. You can get an ordinary desk fan for less than £30 & no way is this one really worth that much more.I bought this fan to replace the rather noisy conventional fan I had been using for years. Overpriced rubbish
I have a lot of Dyson stuff. The best being the robot vacuum. I have the ridiculously priced hairdryer which is great. All of Dyson stuff is overpriced but works considerably better than other brands. This fan, however, does not. It is 10 times the price but no better than any other fan.
