BEST ICE CREAM IN JUST 30 MINS
Advertised as refurbished, I expected cosmetic blemishes but there were none. It is perfect - just a few measuring spoons missing, which was as described. The machine makes ice cream in 30 minutes for soft and up to 60 minutes for hard ice cream and gelato - can't really tell the difference between these two! So apart from the large size, which is needed to accommodate the compressor, I cannot fault it and this is the best ice cream maker I have come across.Advertised as refurbished, I expected cosmetic blemishes but there were none. Can’t recommend enough. Easy to use and excellent results. Only down size being the quantity you are limited to making, but then it’s ease of use and it only taking 45-60 mins to produce an ice cream helps compensate for this. Good buy.

A big beast but well worth it!
It is a big heavy beast but worth the space it takes up. It makes excellent icecream and sorbet. It's easy to use and does it all in about an hour and 10. I usually put the icecream in the freezer for half an hour to finish the freezing process as we are not so keen on soft scoop. I have made lemon sorbet, froze the lemon shells and scooped the sorbet into them which makes a nice presentation for a special occasion. Also made fig icecream, mixed berry and strawberry- several times. Today I will make blackberry and apple and japanese wineberry (they are like raspberries). The ease of use is a great bonus, before I had a magimix which was fiddly to use and eventually went wrong with no way to fix it. Cuisinart ice cream maker
Excellent machine, so easy to set up, and ice cream always done within the hour and having two paddles , one for ice cream and the other for gelato , the gelato makes it extra smooth so I mostly use that , so good it's a job to stop making the ice's
