At the price and with the shoes being described as Martins rather than Doc Martens I never expected to get the real item . Influenced by the price, I bought a pair . When they arrived I was surprised to see that they appeared to by genuine Docs including the wrapping paper . I wore them and they were comfortable but as someone who has worn genuine Doc Martens for years they just didn’t seem right. On looking at the spec I saw that they are not real leather as advertised but PV leather.
