    Great Pre-Glue/Silicone Cleaner

    I have used this Bartoline Methylated Spirits for a long time to clean anything prior to glueing, when making a repair. It is also great for cleaning worktops, shower trays, baths and sink units prior to siliconing. You also do not need to worry about surfaces being damaged, as you do with some cleaners. It is very economical compared to spray can alternatives and goes a long way. It is also very hygienic and does not contain any harmful products when compared to alternative cleaners. Great product, highly recommended.

    The ideal multi-purpose cleaner/fuel source. I can use this same product for cleaning engine parts, running model aircraft and firing up my camping stove. I recommend storing this product, along with turpentine and the like, in a fireproof, locked storage cabinet.

    Meths . Easy to get hold of on line.

    I cannot say much other that it is methylated spirits and I am sure it will do the job. I tried to get it from Boots the Chemists but they no longer stock it. No reason given. I don't know if the online price is a fair price but as I only use a little at a time I am happy with the cost and with the ease I got it.
