The performance to price ratio for Intel i3 10100F is incredible. This processor is not only fast, it is also energy efficient. Even with a stock cooler the temperature stays so low in my tiny ITX case, that I set the fan to the slowest speed possible. And still processer running 100% (rendering video) for half an hour barely reaches 60 degrees. Impressive. The only reason to replace a stock cooler would be to make your PC more quiet. The fan barely moves so it is not very loud, but it is not as silent as some other coolers. Also, it is very possible to use passive cooler for this processor and make your PC both powerful and silent. Processor works very well with my GTX 1650 Super. All benchmarks indicate it is a perfect match indeed. The maximum memory this processor can handle is 2666Mhz DDR4. I wish it was a bit higher, but in real life it does not make any noticeable difference. It is good enough. Considering the price there is no better option for that sort of money. Most series 10 and 11 Intel processors are clearly overpriced, but 10100f hits the sweet spot between power and money. It is not the fastest processor out there, but it is fast. Fast enough for anything you can think of. Considering how cold it runs there is probably lots of room for overclocking. But I can't really see any reason to do it. Read full review
