Really easy to set up . Strong signal . Good instructions but read all first as copy function is great . Can copy your Wi-Fi settings so u don't have two SSID,S. Useful software and app for timer functions . Main huge disadvantage = both units MUST be plugged into same electric circuit . Not good for me as my upstairs and downstairs electrical sockets are on different loops (as is common in most houses ) The through socket is good and ensures you don't lose electric sockets .

Very easy to set up. Now have wifi in my dead spot. No more drop out. Down side is they can interfere with adjacent plug on a double socket, i.e. when using a mechanical timer. It would be nice if they were a little smaller. For me though the benefits outway this negative. In general, satisfied with product and much faster than my old TP Link power adapters. I really could have done with a third unit in pack, just to extend my system a little further (my walls seem to suppress the system). I will monitor how my system performs before purchasing another unit as they are a little more expensive than first thought. Suggest marketing a pack of three as an option.

So far so good... does what i want it to do which is create a wired connection via ethernet cable down the electric wiring into a streaming box... strong stable connection most of the time however for at least 40 minutes on boxing day i couldn't watch the footie because the signal kept dropping out. I tried turning everything off and on and reconfiguring but to no avail, i restarted the router. I unplugged the socket next to it which had my nieces keyboard plugged in as well as everything else and it finally reconnected and I've not had any issue since... it may well have been the keyboard but as i was trying everything at the same time its hard to say... overall very capable equipment. My only gripe is the cost... they do seem expensive for what they are... Just in case, my house is over 100 years old and the router is in the bar we have which is an extention, the streaming box is in the lounge next door... despite this we get a good connection... check to make sure both points you are going to use are on the same ring in your fuse box... also be warned these are very large units...Read full review

The item is well built and gives a very strong (100%) WiFi signal in the summerhouse which is about 80' from the TalkTalk faster fibre router/modem situated in the house. The connection from the house is via a 3 core extension lead connected to the ground floor ring main which the router is also connected to, the receiving extender is plugged into a wall socket in the summerhouse. The projector TV in the summerhouse works like a dream with an Amazon Firestick connected to it which receives the WiFi signal. Also enough signal left over to be able to connect a mobile phone and a tablet without any problem. So far on current experience, I would recommend this product.
