Brilliant film, I have always loved this film even though the special effects are not great but probably good for when it was made. The story and actors were good and I have enjoyed watching it again. It is now part of my collection to enjoy when ever I want

Could have been better.
The story I knew, having seen it on TV a few times, it is explained pretty well on the sleeve. I already had it on a DVD from a few years after its release, but hoped a later BluRay would have been remastered slightly, mainly for the less-than-special special effects. Unfortunately it hasn't been. The model shots of the city still look like a model, and the shoot-out in the ice cave is laughably bad. Great Movie, Logans Run
It's a good classic movie made before the CGI method of filming. That means that minitures and old tech was used in making this film. The plot is interesting and the final outcome of the film is predictable, but still and engaging and visually pleasing film over all.

Classic kitsch dystopian sci-fi
Mid 70’s sci-fi. It is worth it for the Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack alone. Electronic space fizz. Highly entertaining and enjoyable. See if you can spot the wires in the carousel scene. From a time and space prior to cgi dispatching the trusty model maker.
