Product Information

Cooking Mama brings her culinary creations to the 3DS in this ninth iteration of Majesco's fast-paced cooking series. Hundreds of dishes are available to create using the stylus and touch-screen interface. Aspiring cooks will mix, chop, flip, slice, stir, knead, and more while combining recipes to create all-new masterpieces. The system's gyroscope lets players tilt the system to crack eggs, balance plates, grate cheese, and perform other motion-sensitive actions. New recipes and mini-games can be unlocked by completing various milestones, and up to four players are able to compete against one another in the local wireless challenge mode.

    So cute!

    The game is so cute and so much fun, I was testing it to make sure it works for my 8 yr old daughter and I ended playing it for a while:-)

    more for younger players - though lots to do

    POSITIVES: The food being prepared looks so real. There is so much to open and achieve in this games you can get hours and hours of playtime out of it. Mama tries to encourage you in every way. They have very creative ways of interactive play with different steps of cooking. NEGATIVES: There is no LEFT/RIGHT hand option. I'm left-handed and some of the dials required to read and follow during gameplay are hidden by my hand. Some of the cooking instructions are not very clear. The game feels like it's primarily for a very young audience. Mama uses the same sayings over and over. The rewards are very small and repetitious, to the point of feeling the game is more of a chore than it is fun.

    PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK

    I purchase item 170819700054 Mama 4 Kitchen Magic (Nintendo 3DS 2011) I actually received the item on the 18/7/12. I did not open the item until today which is my daughter's birthday. When I entered the diac in to the Nintendo it says "There is nothing inserted into the Game Card Slot. It is definitely inserted correctly, but is not working. Please could you inform me how to go about getting another one or a refund. It is my daughter's birthday today and I saved it till today and she is very disappointed. I await to hear from you.
