Interesting yeast. I don't get the quoted speed but I do ferment in gallon batches at room temp (20c)
Bought this on a whim as I've just started homebrewing. I've made a few different fruit based wines, including supermarket juice based wines, but fancied seeing what a turbo could do. What results do I have? Better than expected. From start to racked, cleared and bottled fruit free wine in a week. I've no intention to distil so I make batches in gallon demijohns, only one at a time, by splitting the Alcotec 48hr into 5 separate yeast portions. My room temperature is 19>20c which is on the cool side, certainly for the lower alcohol fermentations (I normally aim for 15%), so I'm sure I could get a faster result by fermenting at about 30c but this works fine for me. Flavour? Not bad at all. I've heard people say that turbo yeasts taste awful, but I think if you go for lower temperatures ... Bought this on a whim as I've just started homebrewing. High speed yeast
Never expected it to ferment as good as it was. Only thing with this type of yeast is the smell after distillation but if you use a column filter with activated charcoal it clears and gives a beautiful tasting and smelling spirit. Will buy again now I understand it.

WOW ! about covers it,
This stuff is superb, bought it on a whim and now it's my favourite, I've had top grade yeast before but this stuff is really TURBO like it says my home made wine was ready to start clearing in 4 days, fermentation had stopped and I got turbo finings to clear, 9 days later I had 40 pints of wine. Incredible stuff !
