A QUALITY PRODUCT WITH POTENTIAL FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
I purchased this for the extra wide slots and high lift, both of which are superior to the competition but not quite ideal for my own requirements. The mystery though is that the slot length is actually less than most of the competition so cannot accommodate slices cut from extra wide loaves of typical artisan bread. The existing slot is 140mm x 40mm x 50mm High Lift (the portion of bread left inside the toaster having utilized the high-lift lever). This is perfectly adequate for perhaps 90% of the population but an increasing proportion would want something nearer to 160mm x 50mm x 40mm high lift to accommodate the increasing variety of artisan breads on offer. When you slice into a pave, ciabatta, sourdough or Panini roll this extra capacity would be critical. Could this be an ...
