Excellent Plug-and-Stay flash drive
I paid more to get a SanDisk product because I needed reliability and I've always had good experiences with the brand in the past. There's a lot of cheap rubbish out there which can let you down! I bought a new laptop which upgraded everything except storage capacity, so I thought I'd get a tiny flash drive as a permanent fixture to store lots of files that otherwise I wouldn't have space for. As a 'plug and stay' device it works perfectly and, because it's so small, it's unobtrusive and sits happily on the side of the laptop without getting in the way. Most of the time I don't even notice it's there. It gets hot, but that doesn't seem to have affected its performance so far. It was easy to install and importing files presented no problem. Generally very good; for encrypting and storing photos securely, poor.
This drive is neat with a retractable plug, and it reads and writes quickly. For most things this would score 5 stars. However, when encrypting and storing photos securely, details in the Properties are lost. e.g. date taken, camera, shutter speed, flash etc. so for secure photo storage it's poor.
