As described, brakes alone were worth the item price and now forks are stripped, repaired + rebuilt and given new lease of life on my early-mid 2000's retro build. Thank you so much! Packaging could have been a lot better, fork arrived just wrapped up in a bag and P&P cost £12. Quite poor really. Thankfully no damage occurred but wasn't worth this risk though.
