The rod was poorly packaged and not labelled fragile. It was delivered broken. The seller took two days to reply to messages. When posted and sent confirmation I received a reply within an hour. Seller received the item via parcel force and says later I have still not received my refund. I would not recommend to ebayers. I am a long term user and this is poor and unsatisfactory.

Easy to set up, work straight away with smarty SIM card
Easy to set up via tplink tether app. Perfect for people just want to plug in and go. I plugged in my smarty 4g SIM card and it work straight away. Without any need to set up the 3 apn account. I placed the modem about 1.5 metres away from the window of the house and it gets 3 out of 3 bars of mobile reception. Getting 40 Mbit down and 30 Mbit up. The WiFi coverage is adequate. 3 out of 3 bars on ground floor where the modem is installed and dropping to 1 bar at the furthest possible location upstairs. Would consider to add a powerlink or mesh network on top to carry the WiFi across the entire house. Tether app does not have the advance configuration such as QoS, port management, etc. You would need the Easy to set up via tplink tether app. Perfect for people just want to plug in and go. Impressive performance
Very impressed with the performance of this router with a Vodafone sim installed. It has a very solid performance with 4 bars. So good in fact I will be giving up my Virgin router soon even though it is not as fast as Virgin can go it is a far better value and does what I want.

A very good product. I'm looking to come off the Openreach wired network. They will be moving me from underground wired protection to over head optical fiber! So I have decided to drop the land line in favor of mobile connection which I can take on holidays with me lol.
