Package contained very little protective cushioning and had been crushed during transit. Although the box was damaged the Item inside was ok. Box said that batteries (2 x AA) were included; they were not. The item seems very plasticky and not very robust; I nearly broke it when inserting the batteries. I h@ve yet to see how effective it is against stings or bites.
