    A really useful gadget!

    A really useful gadget, I had one and mislaid it now I have another for the times that a bakelite knob cracks and wont turn an appliance on or off! These are excellent as a stopgap whilst the correct one is ordered. Different spindle sizes are accommodated by different sized inserts. I've not found a gas tap or thermostat control that one or other won't fit.

    Fits and operates perfectly

    Bought as a replacement as the earlier one broke (not because of the knob or adaptor - it was due to the gas fire shaft being too stiff to turn). Having remedied the problem, the new knob and adaptor work perfectly. Thank you.

    Perfect Gas fire knob replacement

    Found it difficult to find a new started handle that fitted and this was perfect as the size could be altered. Problem solved!

    Not bad for the money

    None of the inserts supplied with the knob fitted the brass stem of the switch on my gas fire. They were either too big or too small. However, if you have a small round file and some patience the small insert can be made to fit.

    Good knob,bigger than the last one. Wife loves it,says it's much better,she can actually do something with it. Last one was a bit hard to use,this is better. Bought for gas fire,as we lost our old knob.
