The Powerline 2 from Ansmann is an intelligent NiMH battery charger can charge 1 or 2, 9V PP3 rechargeable batteries and can significantly lengthen their service life by always charging them at optimum levels. Each of the 2 slots are individually monitored to ensure that the performance of one battery does not have any influence on the charging of the other.
The charger has a high-quality, microcontroller-controlled charging system that utilises several methods to protect the rechargeable battery from rapid wear. These include the automatic shutdown of the charge process as soon as the cells are fully charged as well as protective maintenance charging for all batteries after the actual charge process, amongst others. High-capacity cells in particular must be treated with great care due to their high energy density.
A colour-coded LED display is integrated above each slot to enable quick and simple reading of the charge status for your rechargeable batteries.
