Good product, but be prepared for some hard work! This product appears to be some kind of acid or similar, which strips the surface off tired and mouldy wood.
We used it on two garden tables, both bare wood. One piece had previously been varnished, but most of the varnish had been stripped away by the weather over many years.
The instructions say to apply the product and immediately scrub with a stiff brush. I did this, with a stiff scrubbing brush, and wasn't getting anywhere. So, I tried a stiff wire brush, and this did the trick. The top layer of wood quickly stripped off, but be ready with some serious elbow grease!
I don't think the instructions make it very clear that you'll need an extremely heavy-duty brush to get results. Obviously, if you choose a wire brush as I did, it's only suitable for fairly rough wood,. I gave the table tops a sanding with an orbital sander before finishing with furniture oil.
It's lots of hard work, but our garden tables are now like brand new, in fact, they look better than they did when new.

Spring cleaningI was disappointed with the "after" condition of my furniture having been led by the picture example on the tin.
The restorer only acted as a wash. My furniture didn't show any signs of restoration.
It was nice to have clean furniture, but this was an expensive way to do it.

Cuprinol garden furniture restorerSome years ago i bought a hardwood garden table and chairs from the company. I thought that i would restore the table with Cuprinol garden Furniture Restorer. I followed the instructions. I did like the smell after i treated my table. It did not do a good job. it looked no different from when i started treating. So i used hardwood oil to treat the table and that did a better job. I would not use Cuprinol Garden Restorer again. I have nearly a full tub left and no use for it again in the future. So it was a waste of money.
