Brilliant hoover
I have 2 dogs (short haired), they shed like mad and chew toys etc so they end up everywhere. This hoover has been brilliant so far. Does the job really well, i have ocd so I double check. The long carpet brush function is brilliant too.

Good Appliance
I bought this based on reviews which were very positive. Setting it up was a wee bit complicated, well for me anyway as a pensioner. I also think the doing and undoing of hoses etc could be easier to attach. One of my main beefs is with the turbo brush, which if you are suffering with arthritis is hard to hold.and uncomfortable and so would benefit from a grip handle. The actual cleaning of carpets is excellent so no fault there. Overall a good vacuum cleaner at a good price.

long reach cord and long reach hose
purchased a few weeks ago to replace an ageing vax. Great performance and ease of use. The long reach of the cord means we only use the one socket downstairs to reach the rooms. An expanding hose makes cleaning the stairs easy with the turbo tool fitted.
One slight gripe is the cord storage, but if you need the reach it is ok.

Great for dog hair
I am really pleased with the way the vax has dealt with the dog fur in my house. It is much better than the dyson i have been using. I have two large dogs and dog hair is a big problem. I thought my carpets needed cleaning but after using the Vax it has brought them up a treat. The attachments are great for dealing with dust on soft furnishings, I am 60 year old and wanted something easy to use and not too heavy. I can manage this Vax with ease. The extra long cable does get in the way, but not too much of a problem

Excellent suction
I have just received my Vax this week and first impression is that it has excellent suction and a long cable to travel through the whole house. The dog hair picked up from my rugs and carpets was very impressive and a little shocked at how badly a job my old vacuum was doing. Very pleased with my purchase.
