Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

very light and easy to use
Works well and like others struggled to fit the guard some good videos on you tube that help.
Excellent build quality as you'd expect from DeWalt. I've got a small collection growing of this brand after other brands have let me down. The most remarkable thing I noticed was how quiet it is, not silent, but certainly less noisy than others I have used. If you're thinking about it, go for it. Recommended.
Amazing trimmer Could have some easy folding system but still love it
This is a really good strimmer, using dewalt batteries means it can easily swap and change with my drill. I found two issues, one was the supplied manual was not good in explaining how you get the strimmer guard on, eventually I had to check out a youtube video. The other issue was the strimmer is split in half, so you need to assemble and bolt it together quite tight to feel solid. Apart from that, very quiet, easy to use, not heavy at all.
OMG I have found the best strimmer, such a light unit (minimal weight) although I have bought a universal strap to use with it, due to my health. A little fiddly to put the guard on. Battery life of 5ah lasts me 79mins, 4ah battery gave me 70mins, both with a 60min recharge. I cannot fault Dewalt tools. The best thing is that the batteries for brushless XR tools use the same batteries, which is fab, no need to buy loads of different makes of tools.
