Callaway Apex DCB Golf Irons
The forged iron has always been thought of as the preserve of the low handicap golfer with the heads often small and not forgiving enough to be used by the mid to high handicapper. Callaway look set to change that with the release of the Callaway Apex DCB iron. The DCB stands for Deep Cavity Back and it is the first club of this kind that Callaway have ever produced.
The fully forged head of the Callaway Apex DCB is a confidence inspiring midsize shape that makes it far more attractive option for the mid to high handicapper that doesn’t always find the middle of the club. The DCB also has a wide sole design that will offer some help to the golfer if the ground is struck slightly before the ball and helps to make this the most forgiving Apex iron ever created.
The A.I. designed Flash Face Cup Technology has been used in an Apex iron for the first time and this face architecture creates fantastic ball speeds and spin consistency across the whole face. The all-new Tungsten energy core brings a level of forgiveness not usually associated with a forged iron and will improve performance on shots that have been struck off centre.
The CG placement is optimised in each iron to ensure the long irons are easy to launch and the short irons are easy to control. The feel at impact is beautifully soft and almost feels like something of shock coming from a club with a mid to oversized head. Whether you are a lower handicapper looking to make the game as easy as possible or a higher handicapper wanting to experience a set of forged irons for the first time, The Callaway Apex DCB will perform superbly.

On most golf clubs, you can change the following things:

What does Custom Fitting cost?
In many cases, there is no charge. Some manufacturers charge an upcharge for certain shafts or grips but there are many options that don't cost a penny more than the standard set.
Do Custom Fit sets take longer to be delivered?
Yes. As the golf clubs will be built by the manufacturer specifically for you, they may take up to 10-14 working days to be delivered. As soon as we receive them, we will send them on a next day delivery service and email you to let you know they are on the way.
